In the sap of the Croton lechleri tree, you would count over thirty alkaloids, including taspin and betanin. It is also rich in antibacterial, antiviral and antiseptic substances.
You can admire these beautiful trees in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. Although they reach a height of 20 meters, you could easily hug their trunk, because the diameter usually does not exceed 30 cm. Dragon's blood is obtained from the tree at dawn. The bark is cut and the leaking sap is immediately collected in the prepared containers.

How can you use these drops?
- Dissolve 5 drops of dragon's blood (10 in acute cases) in 0.3 l of water and drink this "dragon drink" a maximum of 3 times a day. Take a break after 3 weeks.
- For external use on wounds, warts, eczema, insect bites and other skin ailments, you can apply a few drops on the palm of your hand. Rubbing your hands together quickly will create a dense foam, which you then apply to the affected area. Alternatively, drip the liquid directly onto the affected area and let it dry. You can apply it in this way twice a day.
- The drops can also be used for gargling. Gargle 30 drops 3 - 5 times a day.
- Be careful not to spill a drop of dragon’s blood by accident. Sangre de Drago stains a lot, and you might not be able to get it off your favorite t-shirt.
- Take dragon's blood for a maximum of 3 weeks, then take a one-week break.
