This powder will benefit you with its high amount of antioxidants and beta-glucans (at least 10% concentration), and a load of minerals and vitamins. We add this extract by KÄÄPÄ Mushrooms to our drinks mainly for its unique quality. It comes from ecologically cultivated chaga that grew in complete harmony with its environment of the forests of Lapland.

You may know chaga by its Latin name Inonotus obliquus or by its nickname “mushroom of immortality”. It deserves the nickname. Chaga is rich in many different polysaccharides, especially beta-glucans. Triterpenes can also be found in it. The presence of betulin and betulin acid, both obtained from birches on which chaga grows, is significant as well. We must also mention the beneficial phenols and phenol compounds, the potent antioxidant melanin, and a number of group B vitamins, vitamin D and beta carotene. The content of minerals and trace elements is noteworthy, too - namely magnesium, sodium, calcium, iron, copper, zinc, manganese, or the antioxidant germanium.
