How is a zero-carbon footprint soap made?

Cold-processing is a huge relief for nature, as it minimises energy usage. One-time moulds are not used at CodexBeauty Labs and they found a way to upcycle unused material and use it as gentle exfoliating particles. All ingredients come from eco-friendly conditions, mostly from local meadows, farms, and gardens, which means they are not transported over long distances. Last but not least, there is also the minimalist packaging made of soy wax paper, which is entirely compostable. And to make a truly neutral (or negative) carbon footprint, the company plants trees to compensate for any negative effects of its production.
