How is a zero-carbon footprint soap made?
Cold-processing is a huge relief for nature, as it minimises energy usage. One-time moulds are not used at CodexBeauty Labs and they found a way to upcycle unused materials and use them as gentle exfoliating particles. This soap in particular is made of the unused Bia soap shavings. In harmony with the idea of sustainability, all ingredients come from eco-friendly conditions without use of harmful fertilisers or pesticides. Last but not least, there is also the minimalist packaging made of soy wax paper, which is entirely compostable. And to make a truly neutral (or negative) carbon footprint, the company plants trees to compensate for any negative effects of its production.
How can you use this soap?
- The same as any other soap. :) When applied to wet skin, the soap produces rich lather. Rinse it off and enjoy the aromatherapeutic experience of floral-citrus fragrance.
- Put it somewhere to dry after use.
- Suitable for everyday use and all skin types.
- Be careful not to rub the soap into your eyes. If signs of irritation appear, discontinue use.
